Orientation Sessions on Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP)
IQAC of NSS College Pandalam organized two orientation programmes on FYUGP under NEP to guide teachers, students, and parents. Dr. Soju S. led an online session on May 20, 2024, covering regulations and benefits, while Dr. Manoj T.R. conducted an offline session on May 21, 2024, explaining the course structure and challenges. These sessions provided clarity on the new academic framework.
Five Day Online National Faculty Development Programme (FDP)
on Introduction to Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) incorporating Traditional Knowledge (TK) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
NSS College Pandalam, in collaboration with Bharat Vidya Prayojana (IGNCA) a division of IGNCA under the Ministry of Culture, and Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth, organized a five-day online FDP on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) from March 11 to 15, 2024. The national-level programme focused on Traditional Knowledge (TK) and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). The sessions aimed to empower educators and researchers in integrating IKS into academics.
Training Programme on Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) for Teachers
On March 4, 2024, IQAC, NSS College Pandalam in collaboration with the University of Kerala, organized a training program on the Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP). Dr. Manoj T. R. led a session on Outcome-Based Education, while Dr. Rajeev S. R. discussed the FYUGP curriculum framework and regulations. The programme familiarized teachers with key elements of FYUGP and its alignment with NEP 2020.
Five Day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Tech Teach: Elevating Teaching with Digital Proficiency
IQAC and HRDC organized a Five-Day Online Faculty Development Programme from 19 to 23 February 2024. Dr. Ramesh A R, Associate Professor of Chemistry, Govt. Victoria College, Palakkad, led sessions on online examination tools, Google tools, AI for education, and content creation. The programme aimed to enhance digital proficiency in teaching and learning.
