• Dr. Vijayakumar S, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics received UGC Raman Fellowship for Post Doctoral Research at University of Massachussetts, USA
• Dr. S. Saravana Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics received Young Scientist Award in the field of Physical Sciences for the year 2008 from Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment, Government of Kerala.
• Dr. Rakhi R. Assistant Professor, Department of Physics is selected as the Visiting Associate at Inter University Centre for Astronomy & Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune
• Dr. Rakhi R, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics achieved a research grant of Rs. 18,22,832/- under AstroSat-AO project, ISRO-Department of Space, Govt. of India
• Ms. Remya M, Research Scholar, Department of Physics achieved research scholarship of Rs. 25,74,200/- under Women Scientists Scheme-A (WOS-A), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India
• Mr. Gopikrishnan R of MSc Physics (2016-18) is selected as a Visiting Scholar at Guangdong University of Technology, China in the year 2019.
• Mr. Praveen R and Mr. Sandeep T S of BSc Physics (2017-20) qualified the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) in the year 2020.
• Ms. Athulya V and Devinandana A.M of BSc Physics (2021-24) has secured 4th and 10th positions respectively in BSc Physics examination under University of Kerala in the year 2024
• In addition to these achievements, many students from the Department of Physics are pursuing higher studies at prestigious national and international institutions, furthering their academic and research careers.
• Several students from each batch of B.Sc. and M.Sc. Physics consistently qualify in competitive exams such as KTET, CTET, IBPS, KMAT, SLET etc.
