Department of Hindi

The Department of Hindi was established in 1961. The Department offers undergraduate course in B.A Hindi and FYUGP B.A Hindi Honors. The Department achieves good result in most of the years. The Department has strong Alumni. Most of the Faculty Members are Ph.D holders. Various efforts have been taken by the teachers to motivate the children and inculcate human values. The need for improving the language skills is clearly communicated to the students. The Department has been conducting Add-on Courses like Rajbhasha Hindi, Functional Hindi, Communicative Hindi & Translation. The Department of Hindi has produced first ten ranks for U.G Classes from the University of Kerala.

The Teachers of the Department of Hindi have published many Research Papers in National level over the past five years. Two Faculty members are Board of Studies Members of the University of Kerala & Mahatma Gandhi University. The Department has Conducted National Seminars, One day Seminars. Hindi Day Celebrations are conducted on an annual basis.
