Professional skill development among student community has been a key component of the curriculum of this college for years. An add-on course is an extra educational program that students can practise beside their standard degree programs. These programs aim to secure students with the skills necessary to navigate contemporary workplace challenges effectively. Focusing on bolstering language proficiency, communication prowess, aptitude refinement, management acumen, and hospitality skills, add-on courses empower students for both self-employment opportunities and enhanced employability. A number of add-on courses are offered by different departments of N.S.S. College, Pandalam, and attempts to teach students important employable skills. For the success of this course a college level convener and various departmental coordinators have been selected for program monitoring. The college runs twenty one add-on courses.
