The institution offers sixteen degree programmes, seven post graduate programmes and few Ph.D programmes.
Degree programmes from 2010 admission onwards are based on the choice based credit and semester system. The programme will have six semesters, each of 450 teaching hours in 18 weeks. All degree programmes will have one core (main) and two complementary (subsidiary) subjects. In addition there will be English as first language and one among Malayalam, Hindi and Sanskrit as additional language, which the student may choose. Each student will have to do one among the appended Open Course at the fifth semester.
